The Island Youth Basketball League (IYBL), founded and directed by Jurelle Mullings, officially launches its 2026 Winter League on Saturday, February 7, at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium, continuing its mission to provide safe, structured, and development-focused basketball for children across New Providence.

Oaktree Medical Center has come on board as Title Sponsor of the IYBL Winter League, supporting the league’s focus on youth health, character development, and positive routines through sport.

The Winter League follows a successful Fall Jamboree held October 9–13, 2025, where 80 registered players participated over four days of assessments, team placement, skills training, and competitive play. The Jamboree marked the league’s official season opener and demonstrated strong demand for an organized, age-appropriate basketball environment for boys and girls.
